Important results from the project
Meeting project identified latent needs in elderly care by putting together and facilitating an innovation workshop with Need identifiers and Entrepreneurs. The purpose has been met but the target of 5 pilot project applications have unfortunately not achieved what support the organization believes is due to the time consuming and complex application process.
Expected long term effects
The project has succeeded in identifying latent need in the market by creating unique encounters between Behovsidentifierare and Entrepreneurs. It is still too early to say how many commercially viable ideas that arose out of this though.
Approach and implementation
Serendipity Growth in collaboration with Stéphanie Treschow from Access Health International Sweden has implemented the project on schedule and with very good feedback from both contractors and behovsidentifierare. Support organization believes that the project is well implemented but that the process from the VINNOVA page can be changed to simplify the contractors and support organization. The process is too time-consuming and rigid support for both the organization and the contractor.
