Important results from the project
The purpose of the project was to test different marketing channels to collect data and to be able to market us smarter in the next step, to use capital effectively through low conversion costs for new users. In addition, this data should be used to strengthen the possibility of raising further capital, to continue to market the platform and to contribute to another Swedish startup taking market shares internationally.
Expected long term effects
The result of the tests has enabled us to adjust the target group and include more men. Bubotree has found a variety of influencers / bloggers focusing on travel with a target group interested in travel planning. In addition, we have been able to discard the cooperations that didn´t generate new users, even though the conditions looked good before. PR including a market survey has generated articles about Bubotree and increased brand awareness and SEO for the platform. Various steps of campaigns on FB and instagram have generated very good numbers in the form of link clicks and new users.
Approach and implementation
Various marketing efforts: PR / market research Advertising on Facebook Advertising on Instagram Collaboration with travel bloggers =>blog posts about Bubotree Collaboration with (micro) influencers in travel on Instagram =>posts on instagram and storylines for a month. Step 1: Test =>Analysis and target audience adaptation in social media for step two. Who will actually become a converted user? Step 2 (Advertising): - Implementation of social media advertising campaigns. - Continued collaboration with a selection of travel bloggers.
