Important results from the project
The aim of the project was to study long innovation processes in the public sector. The goal was to gain a deeper understanding of how the actors interact and thereby also create a stronger foundation for future development. What are the obstacles and what are the success factors of innovative long-term processes? What are the effects, intended and unintended? The goals are achieved and the project has presented substantial basis for future action.
Expected long term effects
The results summarized in five lessons that are presented in annex final report under the following headings: Discourse Uptake Mainstreaming To interfere with power Systematics of interference Innovation as organic In addition to the above five lessons also emerges a picture of how this field has developed structural capacity in the form of networking and intersectoral collaboration.
Approach and implementation
Avstamp was carried out using: Literature studies with a focus on earlier descriptions of the field´s development. Studies and analysis of innovation policies, regionally and nationally. Five workshop days in as many regions. The empirical data were summarized and analyzed. Preliminary findings were presented and tested during a seminar at the conference Offentliga Rummet, further developed, presented at a seminar at Vinnova in June and compiled to the final report attached.
