An intelligent integrated light for increased visibility and safety

Purpose and goal

Flex Technology is driven by an important goal: to increase the safety of children, sportsmen, bicycle commuters and people working in traffic. In this project we focused on user categories Children. The purpose and objective of the project was to develop an intelligent light controlled by sensors and not just with an On Off button. This new solution will automate the light and minimize the risk that light is not activated when needed, ie: the light should be activated and deactivated without the user having to think. Thus become an intelligent light.

Expected results and effects

The result of the features has succeeded. The product will have the important features that make the solution unique and enables a strong competitive product for successful internationalization. The response has been positive, resulting in that the product will be commercialized already in 2017, which will have a positive effect for the company.

Planned approach and implementation

The set-up of the implementation of the project was done in different steps to set the product´s function. The steps included tests, analysis and various measurements in different environments. We have been able to set the functions so that the application can be applied in the product. We have as well confirmed that it works for the user and that the user finds that the feature improves system.
