Purpose and goal

The purpose of testing a research-based approach to employee-driven innovation has been realized. The outcome is varied, not according to method, but due to difficulties with continuity of managers and employees, which has led to many "restarts" and in some cases the work has not continued. In cases where the work has been ongoing, the work has provided support for the continuous development work to meet the user in a qualitative and efficient way. It has also given rise to structures that will continue to be used in the district´s regular operations.

Expected results and effects

The district has an increased understanding and readiness to lead and organize for innovation at all different levels. The district has implemented a support structure consisting of both financial and personnel resources to support an innovative way of working. Development and knowledge of different methods that can support the work are widely available. This means that the district can offer good services and services to citizens and users.

Planned approach and implementation

17 units were included. The district has undergone organizational changes and half of the initial testing activities disappeared. 5 new units were started Nov 2018. The project’s effects has been disseminated internally. Managers and key support staff have undergone leadership training.
