Status Completed

Purpose and goal

Purpose, to create an advice- and support portal for unaccompanied minors and people who have assignments with and for them. The web site ensamkommande.org is launched last day of September, 2016. The collaboration between the participating organizations are established and Web Portal including advice and support functions will be updated and maintained in the long term. More organizations will be included in the collaboration. Funding has not been resolved regarding the future development of the website

Expected results and effects

The content on the website is designed from the comments and suggestions we received from participants in workshops. Participants were staff working for and with unaccompanied minors, experts including trustees and contact persons, as well as unaccompanied minors. This means that the content of the web portal is well anchored among those who are the target of the site.

Planned approach and implementation

During the project, we have had workshops and also compiled existing information from the web directed to unaccompanied minors. On the basis learning in these activities, we have designed the web portal. On an organizational level, there is a great interest in a web portal for unaccompanied. Organizations want to be involved in the project. On the individual level, one sees a description of those who primarily need direct knowledge in this area, not only are the unaccompanied minors. Many adults who are in contact with minors in different ways will be asked questions from the children.
