Seal of Excellence – Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions

You can receive funding to work as a researcher in Sweden via the Seal of Excellence if you've previously been awarded within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions programme.

Applying for Seal of Excellence

The European Commission is awarding Seal of Excellence certificates to researchers in recognition of their high-quality research proposals under the Marie-Skłodowska Curie Actions (MSCA). These are being awarded to all researchers whose MSCA European Postdoctoral Fellowship proposals in 2021 had a score of 85% or above but could not be funded because of the highly competitive nature of the MSCA programme.

Who can apply?

To apply, you must:

  • have previously applied for an European Postdoctoral Fellowship within MSCA to come to Sweden
  • have been awarded the Seal of Excellence certificate by the EU Commission
  • be included on the reserve list.

This applies to all researchers, regardless of your nationality.
