Seal of Excellence – Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions

You can receive funding to work as a researcher in Sweden via the Seal of Excellence if you've previously been awarded within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions programme.

Applying for Seal of Excellence

The European Commission is awarding Seal of Excellence certificates to researchers in recognition of their high-quality research proposals under the Marie-Skłodowska Curie Actions (MSCA). These are being awarded to all researchers whose MSCA Individual Fellowship proposals in 2018 had a score of 85% or above but could not be funded because of the highly competitive nature of the MSCA programme.

Please note that this offer will not be given to MSCA Individual Fellowship 2019 due to budget limitations. This information will be updated in case of budget changes.

Who can apply?

To apply, you must:

  • have previously applied for an Individual Fellowship within MSCA to come to Sweden
  • have been awarded the Seal of Excellence certificate by the EU Commission
  • be included on the reserve list.

This applies to all researchers, regardless of your nationality.
