Important results from the project

By participating in GAP, we hoped to make our business proposal clearer and more attractive, and to set a long-term product plan to direct our efforts. We succeed in the first part. Our updated product description won us first prize in a pitch event in Silicon Valley, and we ourselves feel more confident in what we´re building. As for the second goal, our year with GAP suggested that we should aim for user-driven development with short build & verify cycles.

Expected long term effects

We met our goals with the project, and we think the results saved us a lot of time by getting us on the right track quickly. It was a bit difficult to work together with the GAP team because of the time zone difference. Towards the end of the project, we started to schedule biweekly meetings at regular hours, and that really helped. In retrospect, I wish we had started with these meetings right away.

Approach and implementation

The general organisation with a start up and a concluding meeting in LA, and additional meetings at various conferences and our home office in-between worked well. It´s also good that the project is fairly compact; with a good amount of work within a short period of time. This means that we could afford to focus on the project, and saw results quickly.
