Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The purpose of the project was to understand the effects of temporary interventions that was implemented in Gothenburg summer of 2020, and to develop an understanding of how temporary interventions in urban spaces can be tested, measured and evaluated. The goal was to develop a methodology that can be used by municipalities as support in planning and decision-making. Aim and objective have been met.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Within the project, an evaluation of temporary interventions on Linné- and Landsvägsgatan and Kungsgatan in the summer of 2020 was carried out. The evaluation aims to support decision-making regarding future investments. A literature study of both scientific and so-called "gray" literature has been carried out regarding temporary interventions and evaluation. Based on the study, a handbook has been produced regarding evaluation of temporary interventions, and also a project applications for in-depth studies on temporary urbanism.

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** RISE was responsible for the implementation of the project, but the work has been conducted in close collaboration with Trafikkontoret Göteborgs Stad and reconciliations with the project´s reference group. A consultant conducted data collection regarding the temporary interventions that were evaluated. The work was organized in five work packages; 1. Project management and administration 2. Study design 3. Data Collection 4. Analysis 5. Begin implementation and scaling up
