Important results from the project

In order to equip our innovation system for complex challenges of the future, design at the forefront is required. SVID intends to assist this by incorporating its network "Swedish Lab Environments" with the emerging lab-like parts of authorities. An initial workshop was carried out on April 10 in connection with ChangeLab´s masterclass in Stockholm. The purpose to create insights of how the course could best be applied in a Swedish context. In an adjoining workshop on May 22, we explored this further and it was decided to start learning pilot cases.

Expected long term effects

A shared knowledge platform, many lab environments together has been crafted during the four workshops from April to October.

Approach and implementation

Four workshops and several meetings have been carried out by Svid during the project. 10 april, 22 May, 15 Sept and 2 october. On the 16th September the Project Manager of förnyelselabbet was invited to the Department of Infrastructure to present how labs can assist in the digital transformation and in what way the Lab network itself could be an asset. A proposal to work as a knowledge alliance has been shaped during the meetings in April, May and September. A brief has been created on a complex challenge of how to shape policy around the new GIG economy. This will be further discussed 12 dec.
