Important results from the project

Through the program content, the project wanted to contribute to attracting and recruiting new talent, so that Sweden strengthens and consolidates its position as a country at the forefront of AI. Illustration of the international interest in the AI transformation in Sweden and increasing the interest in Swedish companies and startups were other goals. The content should also create interest in collaborative projects within applied AI and contribute to raising Swedish companies and thought leaders in selected areas.

Expected long term effects

By gathering the elite in AI from Sweden and 9 other countries - seen as strategically important for Sweden - we wanted to put our country on the map and show the innovative power that exists and the solid work that is done in many areas. During the first day, more than 1,700 participants from more than 75 countries participated and listened to the program. We had a good impact on social media (LinkedIn and Twitter) and have received very positive feedback from both speakers and participants.

Approach and implementation

The content was divided into 6 different tracks - national strategy, AI in industry, health care, mobility, sustainability and democracy / ethics. The speakers (all at a high level within their respective unions) highlighted how the work with applied AI continues. The approach within each track was to listen to what is being done in Sweden and then compare it with what is happening internationally. A success factor was the format with short speeches, 5-8 minutes per speaker. This contributed to high energy and aroused curiosity.
