Important results from the project
Smartare Elektroniksystem wants to contribute to long-term competitive Swedish electronics manufacturing and proposes the establishment of a manufacturing center focusing on this area. The current situation has been analyzed and a proposal has been produced. It contains a roadmap 2020-2030 with scope, content and funding needs for a competence center in the area.
Expected long term effects
If the proposal is adopted and funding is granted, Swedish electronics production will be strengthened.
Approach and implementation
The background material for the proposal has been collected mainly from roadmaps, at conferences and workshops, and through personal contacts, in the following areas: - Global sustainability trends, - General manufacturing trends - Smart manufacturing - Zero defect manufacturing - Technology trends: -- Electrification and power electronics --Electronics packaging -- Reliability -- Smart manufacturing - Bisnode mapping of the Swedish electronics industry 2011-2017 - Examples of European national and regional initiatives in the area
