Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project´s objective was to clarify obstacles and opportunities for universal design as support for increased accessibility in cities and communities´ activities, environments and services. The overall purpose of the project is to follow up Vinnova´s special effort on accessibility design, later also called universal design ( government assignment 2017).

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project´s objective has been met through the report delivered to Vinnova. The report describes, synthesizes and summarizes knowledge and lessons learned from the projects through good examples and policy documents that make obstacles and opportunities visible. The project provided support for the assignment and its project by arranging meetings for collaboration.

Approach and implementation

The working group in the second part of the project consisted of Elsa Kosmack Vaara (Pl) RISE, Pia Westford RISE, and Per-Olof Hedwall Cetec, Lunds Universitet. The group worked methodically with the empirical material from data collected through surveys and recorded collaborative meetings and conference to complete report no 2. Collaborative meetings was planned to create collaboration, knowledge exchange between project and with invited actors.At collaboration meetings, innovation researcher Nina Bozic assisted with support to create a favorable innovation climate.
