Important results from the project
The purpose of the platform was to gather interested actors within the field of operation and maintenance as a base in order to affect priorities and coming calls within H2020. The purpose has been achieved. A number of organizations for instance EWEA, IEA and IEC have been identified as possible affect actors directly and as indirectly actors in order to identify actors within the area of research- and innovationprojects. Due to the short timeframe for this project, there has been no possibility for deeper analysis of the international market, other possible calls or direct lobbying.
Expected long term effects
This project has achieved a strong partnership in order to increase the interest and collect problems regarding operation and maintenance of windpower. The interest within the partnership of this project are or can be useful when it comes to applications, affect priorities within H2020 but also regarding other national and regional windpower development issues. One objective was to perform a partnership application to H2020 during 2015. It has not been possible during the timeframe of this project, but actors within this platform contribute and coordinate approved H2020 projects.
Approach and implementation
This project has had an iterative approach, where the outcome in one stage is used to determine strategy and focus in stage two. The management of the project has been of massive importance and not at least Vindkraftscentrum.se with wide network of contacts and daily relations with actors within windpower, from national public organizations to regional org and companies. The analytical work has been done using a wide range of methods. It has been internal and external interviews, business intelligence, workshop, research and documents, measurements and statistical analysis.
