Important results from the project
The aim was to, through the a National Platform for Service Innovation including all interested stakeholders regardless of business sector or academic discipline, influence program priorities and policy development at European level, to a greater extent to support the development of value-added services in Sweden and Europe. Today there is an established platform in Sweden with a wide and committed partnership of companies, universities, research institutes and intermediary organisations. The goal of the project is therefore fulfilled.
Expected long term effects
The project has contributed to an established partnership between a large number of Swedish companies, academia, research institutes and intermediaries to develop the field of Service Innovation and increase the opportunities to cooperate at European level. It is a priority for the partnership that the areas described in the Strategic Innovation Agenda for Service Innovation are highlighted in EU programme priorities and policy proposals. Sweden is well placed to influence the priorities and policy proposals and thus increase participation in Horizon in 2020.
