Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** A framework that shows how a national development project should be designed to fit into Medtech4Health´s activities was developed and will be integrated as a control document for Medtech4Health. Based on this framework, a proposed national development project for the implementation of medical technology products & services. The proposal was formed in a proposal which was sent to Vinnova for decision. If proposal is granted, this national development project will become part of Medetch4Health activities

Expected long term effects

The project met the specific objectives of developing a framework as well as a proposal for a national development project focusing on implementation. In the long term, the project´s results will also contribute to Medtech4Health´s three impact goals. 1. A patient-centered and effective health care system calculated in health outcomes per cost. 2. Continued national and international success for medical technology (Medtech) companies in Sweden. 3. Sweden is internationally recognized for excellence in need-based medical technology innovation, research and education.

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The work was based on 4 workshops where representatives from all Medtech4Health´s nodes and other people were invited. During these workshops, the two documents were prepared, which then became the project´s deliveries: 1. Framework for how a National Development Project should be designed to fit into Medtech4Health´s activities. 2. A proposal for a National development project focusing on the implementation of medical technology products and services, which was also formed as a proposal to Vinnova.
