Purpose and goal

The purpose of the platform ´Living, Eating & Dwell´ is to maintain and develop Sweden´s competitiveness in the field of nutrition, health and housing by influencing the direction and our own participation in Horizon2020. The project has met the objectives of mobilizing a network of relevant stakeholders, to develop a strategy for positioning within Horizon2020 and to anchor the project to the European Commission and European colleagues.

Results and expected effects

The network mobilized consists of a total of 86 players, including 45 companies, 10 municipalities and 13 research groups. The strategy for future work includes analyzes of current work, a workshop with the network on the theme ´Technology Readiness Level´ as well as a timetable for when the impact on the next work program is possible. European contacts have been established through participation in a number of conferences. Project works within SIO: An aging population, Food KIC and KIC InnoLife and EIP.

Approach and implementation

The project has been organized into four parts. Initially relevant actors were identified continued with an active communication with interested companies, researchers, NGOs and public bodies. Then it was announced a petition to the network. Relevant activities were inventoried to anchor the network nationally and internationally. In January, a breakfast meeting and workshop was held in Stockholm. The outcome of the meeting forms the starting point for a B-application.
