Project duration August 2012 - January 2013
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The objective of the project is , in full coordination with the agenda project ran by Gogool Business Navigator, develop a well-established R & I agenda for the food value chain. This objective has been achieved. A longer term aim is to create a basis for a unified SIO application of our value chain. This aim will be met as it is the project groups solid ambition to submit an application to the next call for proposals in the autumn of 2013

Results and expected effects

The coordinated project had a good planning and implementation. The collection of leading thoughts has taken place in three workshops where key opinion leaders in the food value chain were invited. The results were analyzed and resulted in a proposal that has been on an extensive round of referrals. Along the way, the work coordinated with other agendas. A final agenda has been written. The Agenda will in the next step be presented more broadly to the food value chain.

Approach and implementation

At the first project meeting, we agreed on objectives and activity plan for a joint project that has consequently been followed throughout the project. Firstly an information gathering of existing policies was done and an input from opinion leaders in three workshops. The results and conclusions from the data collection formed the basis for the upcoming Agenda production and examination. The draft was circulated in two referral rounds in both academia and industry.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
