Important results from the project
Objective of Sundbyberg model was that with the design approach to find ways of cooperation to improve the work of young people aim to give young people a clear incentive to stop committing offenses. The goal was adjusted to try to support the young people to graduate 9th with high school eligibility and to graduate school with a high school diploma. The design approach with collaboration groups resulted in improved local co. between police and municipality and generated two concrete pilot approaches to methods to be tested. Depending on the outcome, possibly scaled up and run regionally.
Expected long term effects
We expect that we will eventually be able to see evidence of a reduced crime rate and a higher number of students leaving 9th and upper secondary school. Addition to the KPIs, we expect to be able to see parents, teachers, leisure staff who contact the municipality before children encounter difficult situations. We could measure both the number of parents who take part in our Löftet presentation and how often they ask for support. We expect more young people to be taken care of with targeted, personal contributions social services provide the desired effect. We should be able to measure this.
Approach and implementation
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Project has a demand-driven development process/service design process, divided into three phases. Talks and start-up involved parties , consulting co.to set frameworks and direction, concluding WS with the parties. Phase two WS smaller project groups once a month, ideas were generated, work further with prototypes. Between WS, the prototypes tested, refined and further refined. Layout started well, difficult to carry out WS due to. unfamiliar and the line business that needed the resources. Online under Covid-19 facilitated for participation.
