Important results from the project

Develop an attractive and demand-driven range of courses that enables lifelong learning for professionals in basic industry and that enables their development towards Industry 4.0 through: Developed flexible forms of learning that are suitable for professionals. Tested and established flexible forms of admission Established organizational structure, established methods and processes that support the development of course offerings in consultation with users Established ongoing collaboration, learning and an organization to offer these courses after the end of the project

Expected long term effects

The project will result in six, largely, digital courses, two of which are modular and tested. The method and process have been evaluated and developed. Expected effects are that the method, process, and studio structure for media production have reduced obstacles to taking on commissioned training, lead to more courses being produced and that a professional perspective is to a greater extent integrated into future course development. A significant effect is that internal processes to organize for commissioned training have started.

Approach and implementation

LTU is responsible for overall project coordination, management and follow-up as well as for reconciliation with the university management and steering group. The sub-projects have had regular meetings and information exchanges. Needs dialogues and evaluation with potential users have been a central part of the development of courses, which has affected course design and flexible forms of admission. The internal methods and processes have been developed to meet future work with commissioned training.
