Important results from the project

The project has contributed to taking the next step towards a national infrastructure that will focus on commercialization, process development, production and industrialization of ATMP. The vision is to establish a highly specialized infrastructure that will fill a critical gap in the Swedish innovation system. The recommendation is to establish the infrastructure as a non-profit private-public partnership that brings together the necessary skills and facilities. The project´s report contains a number of criteria with regard to activities and location.

Expected long term effects

The project has defined scope, activities, organization and management of the infrastructure and investigated legal aspects, related to e.g. state aid rules and company forms. During the project period, a proposal for private co-financing of an infrastructure according to the CCRM model has been presented by an industrial consortium consisting of nine companies that meet the priority criteria developed by the project. A possible effect of this is that the initiative may come to fruition.

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project has been carried out by a partnership coordinated by RISE and consisting of industry and other key stakeholders and actors. Where relevant, external consultants have been engaged. The project has also conducted dialogue with actors and stakeholders outside the project partnership, for example the industrial consortium formed during the project period. To the greatest extent possible, the project has tried to adapt to external factors that had an impact on the project results and implementation.
