Important results from the project
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the feasibility of the next generation of CaseMate DH Anticounterfeit’s platform enabling the Brand Protection teams to track and investigate counterfeit cases. We concluded that to reach our goals we must move towards a more scalable and customizable architecture. The new version of CaseMate is entirely cloud-based and displays a module-based architecture.
Expected long term effects
The new open-architecture version of CaseMate is online and operational. Although this version is still in development, we were able to test its performance with client data. One of our clients, Vlisco, is already using the new version. We conducted interviews with potential clients and their feedback is being integrated into the new design.
Approach and implementation
Through this feasibility study, we have been able to identify and define the directions of future business development of DH Anticounterfeit. We have been able to move the CaseMate platform from a monolithic to the modular architecture, a step which yielded tangible business and technical benefits. We have also undertaken in-depth analyses of the competitors, user and market needs which were fundamental to devising a clear business development plan for the future growth of our company.
