Approach and implementation
Global Award for Entrepreneneurship Research was awarded in 2020 to John Haltiwanger, professor University of Maryland. The award ceremony was held via link in 2021. The award was cancelled in 2021 due to the pandemic. In 2022 the award ceremony was held in Stockholm with approximately 100 guests as well as other activities with the winner. The award ceremonies were followed via webcast by approximately 100 participants. The award lectures are recorded and available online. Press releases, scientific articles and debate articles by the prize committee were published.
