Application for EIC-Transition (deadline Sept.2025)

Purpose and goal

The goal of this planning project is to ensure that our technology is in the best possible position to be granted non-dilutive funding by the European Union in the shape of a EIC-Transition project (application deadline: September 2025). This will be achieved by working at increasing both our Technology Readiness Level (TRL) with relevant experimental validations and our Business Readiness Level (BRL), defining a business strategy for the next 3 years and identifying the best project partners.

Expected effects and result

At the end of this planning project we will have: - reached TRL 4 validating experimentally newly implemented prototypes. - identified the most relevant application for our technology. - identified strategic partners to involve in the EU project. - developed a business plan for the next 3 years. - written and submitted a proposal for EIC-Transition (deadline September 2025).

Planned approach and implementation

During the planning project we will work with external consultants to identify the "killer application" for our technology in the landscape of innovative electro-optical components for next generation telecommunication. We will also work at the implementation of novel prototypes based on our simulations, to validate experimentally the results of such simulations and obtain a working POC on which implement relevant electro-optical measurements.
