Important results from the project

Örebro node was esatblished at the end of 2019 and has since contributed to the common goal of accelerating the use of applied AI for the benefit of our society, our competitiveness and for everyone living in Sweden. The node has during the establishment phase had a strong focus on continue to build and maintain good relationships and collaborations internally, regionally and nationally, as well as work for the dissemination of knowledge, contribute to Data Factory and education for professionals.

Expected long term effects

Specific high-level objectives for AI Sweden to which the node has contributed: - Accelerate applied AI research and innovation through collaboration and cross-industry sharing. - Provide a hub for applied AI-related project and data generation for academia, industry and the public sector. - Stimulate dynamic applied innovation activities, facilitating cross-fertilization of AI expertise across a wide range of applications - Develop and provide methods and infrastructure for handling large amounts of data.

Approach and implementation

The node has actively participated in team meetings, management meetings, host organization meetings and participated in strategic network meetings and workshops linked to authorities, municipalities, regions, and data factories as well as various meetings within the national strategic areas. Örebro node has during the period been responsible for a total of 9 partners, of which 2 start-ups. In order to support and engage partners to actively work with their AI Transformation based on our offers, the node manager has conducted regular planning meetings with each partner.
