AI for solving critical challenges

Important results from the project

The purpose of the AI call has been to encourage companies and researchers in digitalization and AI to think about what they could do in the crisis. As well as bringing together cutting edge expertise in business /research with the needs of various community actors to bring about solutions that support and strengthen Sweden in the crisis. The goal was to initiate the several concrete projects that contribute to this. Over the course of the project, over 90 actors joined the call and about 20 initiatives are now underway and several idea generation meetings have been held.

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The ambition was that the call would contribute with innovation and execution power in the crisis by linking solutions and skills from different actors to solve the challenges of different needs owners. During the project, needs owners and actors from the call were linked together and several new project were initiated. The call has given the opportunity to both smaller and larger actors to support their skills in the crisis. Some of the initiatives that were included in the call also received Vinnova- funding for the project that arose.

Approach and implementation

In order to coordinate among the the actors in the call, a teams group was started for information and so that the actors were able to use each other for advice. Several digital ideas seminars have been conducted, on the basis of themes and with different needs owners. Information in the media has served as a way to encourage more people to join and to give information to potential needs owners. The call has been a collaboration with both IT&Telekom companies within Almega who conducted interviews with companies and with Warp News who focuses on publishing positive news in the crisis
