Methods of innovation

Vinnova is constantly working with different methods for innovation. Some are ready-made methods, others are a constant learning process. Here we share the methods we have used. There are of course many more methods, and the ones we share are not the only ways to work with the methods.

Who uses the methods?

Methods for innovation are used to find solutions in both small, limited contexts and to create change in entire systems – depending entirely on what needs to change.

Innovation methods are used, for example, in large test projects that are supposed to demonstrate how an entire system can change. These are comprehensive system tests that take place in a real environment and are continuously evaluated. For some time, a large national trial with large electric vehicles - REEL - has been underway, which includes everything from charging infrastructure, drivers and hauliers to suppliers of truck vehicles.
