These objective are described with quantitative sub-goals and show clear connections to contribute to the wider EU legislation. With the ambition to work mission-oriented, cross-border collaborations between actors such as researchers, companies, authorities, regions and civil society are encouraged. The new the calls for proposals have themes related to marine parks, fishing migration, reduced environmental impact in the fishing industry, citizen research, developing narratives and visualizations around future scenarios and involvement of local communities in the mission.
