Important results from the project

Liopep is an innovative micro-break app that counteracts the negative effects of long-term sitting in the workplace. By combining gamification, nudging and movement games, Liopep offers a unique solution to promote regular, active micro-breaks during the working day. objective has been to develop and test critical MVP functions to overcome potential obstacles to a sustainable business model. Through collaboration with three organizations important results have been achieved, which positions Liopep as an innovative player in occupational health and productivity.

Expected long term effects

The project has implemented daily high score, personal and group challenges and optimized game mechanisms for increased motivation. AI sensor performance has been improved and alternative AI models have been identified for wider compatibility. Enhanced copy protection has been implemented. These solutions are expected to improve the working climate, prevent occupational injuries, reduce fatigue and increase productivity through regular recovery. These measures strengthen Liopep and lay the foundation for a robust business model that addresses the needs of modern workplaces

Approach and implementation

Regarding the technical development, we have worked with an iterative and exploratory method. We have experimented with and explored different approaches to find the most effective solutions. In the process, we collaborated with 3 organizations that have been allowed to test our prototypes and concepts to ensure that the development meets the needs of the users. We have collected feedback through interviews and surveys. This user-centric approach has provided us with deep insights and enabled continuous improvements to our product, which has been critical to the project´s success
