Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** KAJ´s aim was to investigate and verify the need for sustainably produced shrimp larvae and at the same time estimate what resources and activities are required to start the business. The project has led to increased competence and verified how the production should be carried out and what the business model should look like. The results are merged into a business plan to attract investors. The design of the business shows a very good business potential.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The results are combined into a business plan where the production and sale of sustainably farmed shrimp larvae with a lower climate footprint and higher sustainability has been developed. The outcome of the project has verified the market and identified future customers. The results demonstrate the possibility of developing a new branch of business in Sweden that contributes to increased food supply and food security as well as new job opportunities.

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The arrangement is based on a verification process to understand the customer, his needs and delivery wishes. Collaboration with international consultants has been carried out to verify eligibility requirements and needs for hatchery construction. All work is compiled in a business plan, which is used to bring in external capital to build the plant and enable a new industry focus with very high potential in aquaculture.
