Important results from the project
With support from Vinnova´s support for innovative startups, Trackuback has established its innovative history and genealogy platform internationally in Norway, Denmark, Ireland and the USA. During the project, the platform has been continuously developed for international users and has now become a competent platform for visualization of genealogy and complements other genealogy tools by offering the user a geographical and temporal context for their genealogy.
Expected long term effects
Through close contact with our customers at international presentations and workshops, we have received consistently positive and constructive feedback on the radical changes and developments of the platform that have been implemented within the project.
Approach and implementation
In the project, we have translated the platform into Danish, Norwegian and English, prepared for the launch of a DNA module for Y-DNA (male) and mt-DNA (female) ancestry, developed new tools for geographical visualization of genealogy in old maps, and developed the platform with new international data sources.
