Important results from the project
The primary purpose of the project was to test and optimize our novel biocatalyst for improving carbon capture processes, specifically for BECCS, and to prepare for market entry by finding strategic partnerships.
Expected long term effects
Our biocatalyst showed significant improvement in CO2 capture kinetics for various solvents used in carbon capture. Stability tests identified promising areas and areas needing further work. Market research led to a signed Letter of Intent with a leading customer and a partnership with a major energy company.
Approach and implementation
The project was executed as planned with systematic laboratory tests. Extensive market research identified potential customers and partners, leading to significant strategic engagements.
