Important results from the project
The project aims to develop catheter-based techniques to repair a leaking mitral valve. Our generic EndoCap technology gives the operator the opportunity to anchor inside the heart in a very precise manner, which is a prerequisite for a good end results.
Expected long term effects
We have demonstrated that our technology works on a beating heart, and have managed to repair a leaking mitral valve in this model
Approach and implementation
We can summarize this part of the project as successful. Within the scope of this grant, we have reached our objectives: 1 -to demonstrate that the technology works in an animal model and to develop our patents portfolio.
