What experiences did you take with you from Silicon Valley?

The time at Silicon Valley provided meetings with a variety of interesting people, an infectious energy and a strong belief in the future. It is an environment that gives strength, with endless opportunities for new contacts through mingling and networking meetings. The pace is fast but is balanced by a Californian “laid back” feeling. Silicon Valley is truly a unique melting pot that brings together the world's best in entrepreneurship, technology and innovation. In sustainable construction and community development, high ambitions are noticeable, and it was particularly rewarding to understand the local conditions and challenges that characterize the area.

Based on your experiences, what would you like to contribute to the Swedish innovation system?

I would like to contribute to strengthening the exchange between Sweden and the US in the construction sector and specifically in the forest industry, industrial construction and wood construction. I want to lower the threshold and enable innovative solutions and technology from Sweden to contribute to the green transition in the US.
