A panel discussion on how Sweden can utilize competence and expertise from the civilian technology sector to increase resilience and defense capability.
Vinnova and the Swedish Armed Forces are running a joint effort to strengthen the development of innovative defense technology. We finance innovation projects where civilians actors and companies in technology, innovation and industry collaborate with military actors to contribute to modern defense.
The Civil-Military Innovation Program (CMIP) is implemented by Vinnova and the Swedish Armed Forces on behalf of the government to strengthen Swedish defense capabilities through synergies between civil and military research and development. The program is implemented with support by the Swedish National Defense University, the Swedish Defense Research Institute (FOI) and the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration.
