When both international founders and Swedish startups encounter obstacles related to establishment, residence permits, business and recruitment, it risks leading to lost investments, innovations and jobs.
On behalf of Business Sweden, within the government mission Work in Sweden, SISP has mapped these challenges. The work has resulted in a policy report and a national playbook that will help innovation actors provide better support to international startups that want to establish themselves in Sweden, and international researchers who want to commercialize their research here.
During the seminar, the playbook will be presented for the first time, followed by a discussion about what changes are needed to make Sweden more attractive to international startups and talent.
