Acceleration of civil-military innovations 2027
Does your company have an innovative technology solution with potential to meet defense-related needs? This call for proposals is part of the Civil-Military Innovation Program, which is a joint effort from Vinnova and the Swedish Armed Forces. The call for proposals is aimed at Swedish small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with innovative solutions that can be further developed for application within military defense. Solutions must be based on NATO´s prioritized technology areas, the so-called Emerging and Disruptive Technologies (EDTs). Companies can apply for funding to carry out an innovation project for development and verification. Companies that are granted funding within this call for proposals will enter an accelerator program focused on supporting the development of a broadened business strategy that includes military and defense-related markets.

Who can apply?
The call for proposals is aimed at Swedish small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that have innovative technology solutions with potential to solve defense-related challenges and needs.
How much can you apply for?
Companies can apply for up to SEK 1,000,000 for development and verification. Participation in an accelerator program is mandatory. Additional funding of up to SEK 150,000 can be granted for participation in the accelerator program.
How to apply
To apply for funding from us, you need to fill in a longer application, which we then assess in competition with others. If we decide to finance your project, you need to report to us how the project is going, so that we can see that you carry out the project as you described in the application.
