    How to apply to Eureka?

Create an account on the Eureka application portal (one per consortium) and select the funding opportunity you wish to apply for.

    Eureka application portal

Using the portal, complete one application form per consortium (in English) and invite other consortium partners to complete a partner form.

Upload a GANTT chart (one per consortium), a signed and completed co-signatory form (which you can download from the platform) and any additional required attachments.

Your proposal will be checked for completeness and eligibility before being reviewed again using a standard evaluation procedure. If successful, your project will receive a Eureka label.

The final step is to finalize and sign a consortium agreement. We recommend that you seek legal advice when drawing up your consortium agreement.

How do you apply to Vinnova?

The Eureka application from the international consortium is assessed in parallel with the national ones by the respective country's funding authority. Thus, the Swedish consortium must submit an application to Vinnova at the same time for both platforms, the deadline is April 25, 2023, 12:00 CEST.

Vinnova will use the Eureka application in English as a project description in the application to Vinnova and it forms the basis of the national assessment. Therefore, it is important that the complete Eureka application with information about the international budget, project plan, Gantt chart and international project partners is also brought to Vinnova. The same eligibility and evaluation criteria that Eureka uses are applied by Vinnova, with the exception that at least one Swedish SME must participate.

Based on the international and national application and a project interview, Vinnova makes a final assessment as to whether the project will receive funding or not. The applications that are approved also receive a so-called Eureka label.
