Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** We have fulfilled our aim with the project and managed to present a first version of our Matchmaking service where gamers are given an opportunity to communicate, match and play together. What has always been important to us is that the tool can be applied to all conceivable games because it is important to reach a wider gaming community.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The result we have achieved is above our own expectations as we have already had time to test, verify and further develop our system during the project. The effects of this have been that we are more aware of the needs and wishes of users to further develop the service. We are in a good position to be able to enter the next iteration of the tool.

Approach and implementation

The project work was divided into three individual work packages (WP). WP1 was about defining project implementation and the features of the tool. WP2 establish the tool´s character and design. WP3 develop a first version of Matchmaking. We identified early project implementation and the tool´s features (WP1), which resulted in us being able to focus extra on the remaining parts. The character and design of the tool (WP2) we have put a lot of work into because we wanted to find the best algorithm for Matchmaking in the way we had as objective. This results in the launch (WP3).

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
