The project will also result in established collaboration structures and improved knowledge exchange between healthcare players, as well as between healthcare , academia and industry. Expected results are scalable AI solutions that can be implemented by multiple healthcare providers. The project is also expected to lgenerate several new research and innovation projects in the area of information-driven healthcare and AI.

Planned approach and implementation

During the first two years, the focus will be on establishing the innovation environment, identifying new innovators, early adopters, projects, and partners. The first innovator, Region Halland and Halmstad University, will focus on the implementation of information-driven care, privacy preservation analytics and disseminating results. Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset leads the first feasibility study with the aim to learn from Halland as well as identifying own areas of strength.
