Important results from the project

The aim of this project was to make our platform for school choice fully scalable. By fully scalable we mean that a customer should be able to set up and manage their entire school choice program without our involvement. All the technical components required for this are now constructed and in use so in general we would say that the goals of the project are met.

Expected long term effects

The result of the project is that our platform is now, more or less, fully scalable. Customers can themselves, in the platform’s administration panel, do almost everything they need to do to set up and administer their school choice programs. This will be tested live now in January in some fifteen municipalities. By next year´s school choice period, we will be ready to welcome anyone who wants to use our platform and our hope is to begin our international expansion within the year.

Approach and implementation

The project´s design was based around a four-month sprint with a number of key employees who together have the technical skills needed to expand the platform in accordance with the project´s objectives. The sprint has, from our perspective, been very effective. The entire team has held regular reconciliation meetings to ensure that no one´s work stagnates as they await delivery from another team member. Regular dialogue with customers has also been conducted to ensure that what is being built is in line with customers´ wishes.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
