Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The goal of the project has been to develop a prototype to facilitate the treatment and diagnosis of voice disorders. A central part of this has been to evaluate the needs and wishes of speech therapists and patients of such a system. We have also investigated the business opportunities with a speech therapy system and found this promising. We assess that the project´s objective have been largely met, especially taking into account the current situation.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** We believe that our planned system can reach significantly more patients than is currently possible and offer them more efficient and more individualized care. The group has now collected more than 4,500 voice recordings and with the help of these has begun the work of creating an AI system for generating target votes. We have also developed a prototype in the form of a mobile app and a web interface that enables an efficient dialogue with caregivers and patients.

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** During the project, a large part of the work has been focused on the development of systems and interfaces, to enable an efficient dialogue with caregivers and patients. We have succeeded in carrying out the planned sub-tasks. By redistributing resources and the team´s flexibility, we have been able to continue the project despite the prevailing situation, and even managed to attach a future CEO to us.
