Important results from the project
The goal for this project has been to go from small-scale to large-scale production through performed activities, by increasing the sourcing of materials and streamlining the production process. The purpose of this is to increase the company´s sales and contribute to economic growth. Rave Reviews remake process shows that it is possible to produce sustainably and still achieve scalability and profitability. Showing that there is commercial viability in remake, inspires other companies to do the same and this contributes to increased circular economy in the fashion industry.
Expected long term effects
Rave Review has established 10 new sourcing collaborations, of which five have been successfully tested. With 300 kg of textiles processed, the understanding has increased for how many suppliers are needed to scale up the business and what resources are required. The products have become more profitable and are estimated to reduce the company´s production costs by 30-40% By implementing the results from the project, it is verified that Rave Review not only has an environmentally sustainable concept, but also an economically sustainable business, which can attract larger financiers.
