Important results from the project
The main goal is to develop methodologies providing Smart Service Sol., with embedded diagnostics and prognostics algorithms and advanced measurement and sensor technology.
Expected long term effects
We have identified a new possible sensor technology which we have compiled a proposal for continuation projects together with a SME sent to ICT 2018 call in Vinnova. Today, at the end of this project, we KTH/MWL as well as ABB Corporate research, have a much greater understanding of each other´s ongoing research. This time has helped KTH/MWL to get a better understanding of the needs the industry faces. We at ABB also have a much clearer insight into the ongoing projects and activities at KTH/MWL.
Approach and implementation
As adjunct professor I worked one day a week at VE/ KTH. Vinnova´s support was a necessary requirement to make this happen. I could participate in research work at institution. I together with other colleagues such as Professor Ines Lopez Arteaga at KTH we identified the new sensor technology with potential to be applied in industrial application. I hope know that we can get continuous support in the frame of ICT 2018 call where we together with 1 SME and KTH(1 PhD) have compiled a proposal for continuation projects so we can continue research and further development of our ideas.
