Important results from the project
The aim of the project has been to develop a biocide-free and sustainable Sioo:x product for the protection of wood against insects. EN-standard tests show that the required protection is achieved.
Expected long term effects
The result of the project is developed formulations within Sioo:x basic chemistry for a biocide-free and sustainable Sioo:x product for protection of wood against insects. Expected results have been reached.
Approach and implementation
The project has been carried out in collaboration with RISE and Chalmers Industriteknik. Initially, Sioo:x´s existing ability, sustainable and biocide-free, to protect against insects was tested. On the basis of these tests, a new product has been developed.
