Purpose and goal

The purpose of this phase of the project was to carry out an investigation to produce a prototype to an autonomous rescue drone who, with data from a thermal sensor through machine learning, can locate a person as well as inform/help the user to make correct decisions to save lives.

Expected results and effects

We now have an intelligent prototype in the air that meets the requirements specification and exceeds our own hopes before the start of the project. We will be able to participate in efforts with our customer focus groups and continue the development, situationally adapt the overall solution and facilitate the user experience for the end user and partners.

Planned approach and implementation

An intensive phase of a larger project with high demands on prerequisites and characteristics of individual modules and willingness to contribute to something meaningful. We worked on several parallel tracks that were ultimately integrated into a complete and intelligent prototype that can locate and help save lives.
