Radar AI based Driver Monitoring System

Important results from the project

The project exceeded our objective! We had our major commercial breakthrough by securing our first paying customer, which validated our business model for a radar-based DMS solution. We also expanded into new markets through a partnership with a major European player to use the technology in humanoid robots. We have also initiated collaborations with Swedish research players to help drive future guidelines for road safety.

Expected long term effects

Approach and implementation

The project was executed at a high pace and the setup worked perfectly. The support allowed us to accelerate the development as planned. Focusing on data collection, customer needs and trade fairs were the right activities. The project developed beyond expectations: the most positive unexpected event was how quickly we secured our first customer and found a new market for our core software. Collaboration with our partners has been intense, smooth and extremely rewarding throughout the period.
