Important results from the project
The project has created the basis for increased efficiency in handling water-related issues with the division of responsibilities between different municipal administrations and private activities. A new municipal organization that will handle water issues has been established and will be linked to a transition arena where other actors are located. Several important networks have been mapped, including a supplier network for solutions within different parts of source-separated sewage systems
Expected long term effects
Mapped barriers have been used as a basis for decision-making within Helsingborg´s municipality, including the municipally owned companies that collaborate within RecoLab in Helsingborg, to make strategic work decisions to further develop the implementation of source-separated sewage systems within the Oceanhamnen and Östra Ramlösa development projects. Methods of collaborating across sectors can speed up individual projects, and in turn create a spillover effect in the longer term.
