Important results from the project

Aim This project was carried out as an Infrastructure test of BETA versions (end-to-end) constituting our platform in aim to verify user-friendliness in digital applications for both clothing purchases and clothing production through full-scale player and market interaction including monetary transactions between customers and suppliers. Objective Verify production infrastructure and customer benefits for clothing on demand within a nätköp the aim to validate the eligibility requirements for sustainable development for the market introduction of our offer.

Expected long term effects

Altering tailors are limited in machinery and investment ability. A prototype micro-factory under the company´s own auspices is deemed necessary to motivate connection. Design technician for close cooperation with sewing technician at PPU to ensure resource efficiency are required. Creation of measurement profiles at lower cost through digital aids should be explored. For increased material use, a wider range and operational sorting is required rather than standardization. Simplified terminology and LEGO-like manual for assembly are required for decentralized production.

Approach and implementation

Test user interface BETA version of the app was distributed to consumers with associated questionnaires. They were asked to download our app, go from the overview to the order of product and then feedback in the aim to clarify "pain points" that need to be addressed. The outcome is available as an appendix to this report. Market-placed verification Users´ feedback updated app and web shop which were launched towards a closed group. Completed purchase journeys via mobile and desktop constitute valuable data as a basis for development concerning primarily tracking, interfaces and logic.
