Important results from the project

The purpose of the project was to build on the results from impact start-up part 1, to develop our prototype further. The goal was to build a new and larger machine for large-scale testing and evaluation of NSS´s process for manufacturing and using nano-pure water in semiconductor manufacturing. The machine has reached a significantly higher level of automation and is prepared to integrate with other equipment. Production capacity has increased by 100 percent, while design improvements allow for a higher level of customer customization.

Expected long term effects

During the project period, NSS Water has achieved the following results: 1)Made an updated and fully automated prototype for the production of nanopure water that is ready to be integrated with other equipment that uses some form of pure water. Expected effects: This is a product that is ready to be introduced to the market. The expectation is that we will sell around 10 facilities in 2024.

Approach and implementation

As we prepare and implement a sales effort towards advanced laboratories and manufacturers in the semiconductor industry, we intend to continue with product development and customer customization. During the spring and summer of 2024, the company will set up a sales and marketing group which will work in parallel with the design and development group. The work will continue in close collaboration with users in research and industry.
